Book Review for

Nemesis
by Jo Nesbo

The 2nd of Harry Hole series.
A bank cashier is shot during a holdup after failing to access the money
within 25 seconds. Inspector Harry Hole investigates along with Beate Lonn
who can remember ever face she has ever seen. Harry receives a call from
a woman he knew years ago. He reluctantly meets with her, and the next
day Harry has a hangover and the woman is found dead, an apparent suicide.

While Harry quietly tries to looks into her death, he receives taunting e-mails
from someone who knows what happened. In the meantime, the crooked cop
Tom Waller continues trying to thwart Harry's brilliant detective skills and to
implicate him in the woman's death. Harry is in love with Rakel, who is in
Russia trying to fight for legal custody of her only son.

Another superb novel by Jo Nesbo, one of Norway's finest fiction writers.
