Book Review for

What Never Happens

by Anne Holt

The 2nd in a trilogy with police detective Adam Stubo and his wife,
ex-FBI profiler Johanne Vik. It seems someone is killing well-known
celebrities. The police are baffled because none of the victims are
connected to one another, there is absolutely no forensic evidence
or clues, and their best suspect has an air-tight alibi, being out of
the country at the time of the murders. The husband and wife team
of Stubo and Vik are extremely skilled but cannot prove who they
know did these crimes. The title refers to "what never happens" in
murder: a person kills with no apparent motive tied to the victim.
A very engaging story, one that leaves it quite open for a sequel.
