Book Review for

Excursion to Tindari
by Andrea Camilleri

The 5th Inspector Montalbano mystery.
A young man is found murdered in front of his apartment and an elderly
couple goes missing after an excursion to the ancient site of Tindari.
Montalbano discovers that all 3 victims lived in the same building.
His investigation leads to Italy's New Mafia, more brutal and violent
than the old Mafiosi. Camilleri's crisp dialogue is filled with irony and
Italian wit. Characters like Catarella (Cat) are hilarious because not
even Montalbano can understand his exaggerated Italian pronunciations.
A very enjoyable mystery.
